I just tried this Healthy recipe of Chocolate/Peanut Butter Ice Cream! Yes, I said healthy! I can’t believe that I actually found something that satisfies my craving for Ice Cream with NO added sugar! I love ice cream and was a little skeptical that it would actually taste like ice cream. It was a little hard to get out of the blender once I was finished (because of the thickness), but it worth it and just as tasty as ice cream, in my opinion. It had a thick creamy texture, much like ice cream. Not being able to do as much right now because of these Valley Fever symptoms I’m having, I need all of the “healthier” options I can get. Try it and let me know what you think!
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1 TB of Cocoa Powder (I used Hersheys brand)
- 1 TB of All Natural Creamy Peanut Butter (with no additional additives other than salt)
Blend these 3 ingredients in your blender until smooth. It may be a little difficult to get out of the blender (I used a spatula.) Since it was so thick I had to turn the blender on and off a few times to push the mixture down towards the blades.
