Refreshing “After Workout” Smoothie

This blueberry, pineapple smoothie is filled with all kinds of healthy goodness!  I’ve been wanting to try a blueberry smoothie recipe and so I thought I would try to make up my own.  You could also try to add some ground flaxseed for some added Omega-3 fatty acids.  I added Chia Seeds for added fiber.  This would be a great “after workout” smoothie to help replenish those nutrients that are lost in the sea of sweat during exercise and to help build those muscles.  This smoothie is a good source of protein (greek yogurt), fiber (chia seeds), and antioxidants (blueberries.)  Blend and enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 cup Frozen Blueberries
1/2 cup Frozen Pineapple
1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
1/4 cup Stevia
1 TB Chia Seeds
1/2-3/4 cup water
A squeeze of fresh lemon
Makes 2 servings
